Illinois State volleyball player Khenedi Guest has been recognized as the Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) Freshman of the Week for the third time this season. The announcement was made by the league office on Monday.

Guest delivered an impressive performance over the weekend, contributing significantly to Illinois State's victories against Indiana State and Evansville. She achieved a hitting percentage of .611, accumulating 25 kills from 36 attempts with only three errors, along with four blocks. In the match against Indiana State, she recorded a career-high of 15 kills, helping her team secure their fourth consecutive home win against the Sycamores.

Against Evansville, Guest added 10 more kills on just 12 swings, achieving a .750 hitting percentage, which ranks as the fourth-best in CEFCU Arena's history. Currently, she stands third in the MVC for hitting percentage at .343 and is one of two players in the top ten with over 350 attempts.

This marks Guest's third MVC Freshman of the Week honor this year; she previously received this recognition on September 23 and October 7.

The Redbirds will face Bradley in Peoria on Monday night at 7:00 p.m. CT. The match will be available for streaming via ESPN+.
