The Illinois Wesleyan University men's lacrosse team is preparing to face North Central College in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin action. The game is scheduled for Wednesday, April 10, at Benedetti-Wehrli Stadium in Naperville, Illinois.

IWU enters the match after a decisive 23-3 victory against Augustana College in their conference opener on Saturday, April 6. During this game, 14 different Titans scored goals against the Vikings. Seniors Ike Eastburn, Gage Black, and sophomore Andrew Ortega each contributed four points to lead the team.

The Titans' performance statistics are notable as they rank second in Division III with an average of 44.30 ground balls per game. Their scoring offense ranks seventh nationally with an average of 16.80 goals per game, while their overall points per game stand at eighth in the country with 26.60. Additionally, Eastburn is ranked fifth nationwide for shot percentage with a .545 success rate.

Illinois Wesleyan holds a record of 7-3 (1-0 CCIW) as they head into Wednesday's matchup against North Central, which boasts an 8-1 record going into its first CCIW contest. The Titans have been undefeated against North Central since their first meeting in 2018, winning all six encounters so far. The last meeting between these teams resulted in a close double-overtime victory for IWU with a score of 15-14.

Trystan Seeley played a significant role in that win by scoring three goals including the tying and game-winning man-up goal from last season's match-up. Currently, Seeley ranks third on the team this season with 20 goals and 29 points.
