The Illinois Wesleyan University men's lacrosse team is preparing to face Elmhurst University in a significant match on Saturday, April 20. Sophomore Noah Dretzka earned CCIW Offensive Player of the Week honors after scoring ten points last week, including five goals against Carthage. Freshman Timothy McHugh has made an impact for the Titans by leading the conference with an average of 2.40 assists per game, ranking him among the top 30 nationally.

As a team, IWU ranks 13th in Division III for assists and points per game. Elmhurst ranks No. 40 in points per game. The two teams are closely matched statistically within the CCIW.

This upcoming game marks their 13th meeting. In their first encounter nearly ten years ago, Elmhurst won in double overtime. However, IWU has since maintained an eleven-game winning streak against them.
