Illinois Wesleyan University's men's golf and lacrosse teams have achieved recognition on the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District At-Large team. A total of six student-athletes were honored, with four from golf and two from lacrosse.

In men's golf, Bobby Beaubien, Quinn Clifford, Griffin Pohl, and Juney Bai were acknowledged for their academic achievements. "Clifford picks up his second Academic All-District honor," while it is the first time for Beaubien, Pohl, and Bai.

Bobby Beaubien was noted for his performance on the field as well as in academics. He achieved a scoring average of 72.8 strokes per round over 28 rounds and 11 tournaments. His accomplishments include earning PING Third Team All-America honors and being named the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Men's Golfer of the Year.

Griffin Pohl distinguished himself at the NCAA Division III National Championship by tying for third place. He posted a scoring average of 73.0 over 28 rounds and was recognized as a PING All-America Honorable Mention.

Quinn Clifford earned his second consecutive Academic All-District honor this season with a stroke average of 73.2 over 28 rounds. Clifford also received all-conference accolades.

Juney Bai collected his first Academic All-District honor after an impressive sophomore campaign with an average score of 73.5 strokes per round.

From men's lacrosse, Ethan Hart and Sam Weinberg were recognized on the list. "Hart collects his second Academic All-District honor," while it is Weinberg's first after a successful junior season.

Ethan Hart made significant contributions both academically and athletically as he had one of the highest GPAs among competitors in CCIW Championship games. On-field, he ranked third in caused turnovers for his team.

Sam Weinberg's efforts during his junior year included finishing second on the team in goals scored during the season, helping lead to conference championships and advancement in NCAA Tournament play.

Beaubien, Clifford, Pohl, and Hart will move forward to be considered for Academic All-America honors to be announced later this summer on July 17th.
