The Illinois Wesleyan University men's lacrosse team has again secured recognition from the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW). Senior Trystan Seeley, hailing from Castle Rock, Colorado, was named the Offensive Player of the Week. This announcement was made by the conference office on Tuesday, April 2.
This accolade for Seeley follows a similar honor for his teammate, junior Colin Tervo from West Linn, Oregon. Tervo was recognized as the CCIW Defensive Player of the Week on March 26.
Seeley's performance was pivotal in IWU's recent 20-5 victory over Southwestern University on Thursday, March 28. He contributed significantly with a total of six points, including four goals and two assists. His effort included an impressive curl-around, no-look goal that nearly matched his career-best point tally.
In sharing this week's offensive award, Seeley joins Elmhurst University's Eli Spence.
The Titans are set to face the University of Dubuque on Wednesday, April 3. This matchup is part of a three-game home series at Tucci Stadium with a scheduled start time of 7:30 p.m.
