The Illinois Wesleyan University men's lacrosse team secured a victory against Aurora University with a score of 24-15 at Tucci Stadium on Saturday, March 2. This win brought IWU's record to 2-2, while AU now stands at 1-2.

Freshman Timothy McHugh from Orland Park, Illinois, tied for a match-high six points with two goals and four assists. Seeley matched his career-high by collecting seven ground balls. Rocco and Lombardo each gathered six ground balls, while junior Sam Skelton added five to the team's total. The Titans' defense was bolstered by three players who caused two turnovers each.

Junior Colin Tervo claimed the win as goalkeeper for the Titans, making three saves in his 30 minutes on the field. Senior Alex Oximana also contributed with three saves during his time in goal.

The game started quickly for Illinois Wesleyan when Ortega assisted McHugh for a goal just 21 seconds into play. Although Aurora responded with three consecutive goals, Seeley broke their momentum by connecting with Eastburn for a goal midway through the first period.
