Illinois Wesleyan swim teams compete on day two of Carthage Classic

The Illinois Wesleyan University swim and dive teams participated in the second day of the Carthage Classic in Kenosha, Wisconsin. The events took place on Friday night, December 2, where both men's and women's teams competed in a total of 16 events.

Ethan Lowder, a senior from Bloomington, Illinois, achieved third place in the men's 100-yard butterfly with a time of 53.37 seconds. On the women's side, junior Hadley Fudge from Stanford, Illinois, secured second place in the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 2:13.04. Fudge also placed sixth in the 200-yard backstroke event. Her teammates Kayleigh Kuschewski and Samantha Borre followed closely behind, securing sixth and seventh places respectively.

Lauren Feddersen finished fifth in the women's 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:32.12.

The Titans are scheduled to continue their competition on December 2nd with twelve individual events planned for the day. Preliminary rounds will start at 9 a.m., followed by finals at 5 p.m., and diving events at 11:30 p.m. Results will be made available online on iwusports.com.
