With the regular season concluded, Illinois Wesleyan University's men's and women's swimming and diving teams are set to compete in the 2024 College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Championships. The event will take place from February 22-24 at the Pleasant Prairie RecPlex in Wisconsin.

The championship spans three days, with preliminary rounds starting each day at 10:30 a.m., followed by finals for each event at 6 p.m. Awards such as All-CCIW, Rookie of the Year, MVP, Outstanding Participants, and team accolades will be announced on Saturday.

Senior Lauren Feddersen from Champaign holds the conference's second-best time in the 200-yard breaststroke this season and ranks third in the 400-yard individual medley. Sophomore Hadley Fudge from Stanford is positioned second in the 100-yard breaststroke. Both athletes aim to defend their individual titles from last year when the women's team secured third place overall, while the men's team finished fourth.

Feddersen excelled last season by winning three events and earning CCIW Swimmer of the Year honors. Her victories included the 400-yard individual medley and both breaststroke events (100-yard and 200-yard). Fudge contributed wins in both the 200-yard IM and backstroke.

On the men's side, Senior Lane Wagner from Danville achieved notable placements by finishing second in the 400-yard IM and third in the 200-yard butterfly. The men's team also set a school record with a third-place finish in the 400-yard freestyle relay featuring Ethan Lowder, Alex Kula, Sam Fogarty, and Jake Kalenowski.

Eight Titans received All-CCIW recognition after last year's meet for placing within top positions or being part of a first-place relay team during competition.

The event will be streamed live on CCIW's official YouTube channel with links available on iwusports.com. Results will be updated daily on iwusports.com following each day's events.
