For the eighth consecutive year, the Illinois Wesleyan University (IWU) men's lacrosse team has been named the favorite in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) annual preseason coaches poll. The Titans received four first-place votes and a total of 24 points in the poll announced on February 5.
Following their fifth CCIW title win last season, IWU leads the conference rankings with its strong showing. Carthage College and Elmhurst University are tied for second place, each securing one first-place vote and 18 points.
North Central College is positioned fourth with 16 points, while Augustana College and Carroll University share fifth place, both earning seven points.
The Titans will begin their 2024 season on February 17 with an away game against Hope College in Holland, Michigan.
