The Illinois Wesleyan University men's tennis team is set to face Millikin University on Thursday, April 4, at the Fairview Park Tennis Complex in Decatur, Illinois. The match will commence at 3:30 p.m.

Illinois Wesleyan recently achieved a sweep over Elmhurst University on March 30, marking the start of their College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin play. In doubles competition against Elmhurst, the Titans secured victories in No. 1 and No. 2 matches while Elmhurst forfeited the No. 3 match. Sophomore Ian Turnbull and senior Ryan McCoy triumphed with an 8-1 win at No. 1 doubles, while sophomore Ben Vigneri and junior Zeke Cross won their match at No. 2 doubles with an 8-0 score.

In singles play, Turnbull, Vigneri, McCoy, freshman Thad Dillow, and sophomore Griffin Hammond each claimed victories from positions one through five respectively. Senior Jordan Sibley-Diggs completed the team's success with a forfeit win at No. 6 singles.

Historically since 1990, Illinois Wesleyan has faced Millikin University in tennis on 22 occasions and holds a slight edge with a record of 13 wins to Millikin's nine. However, Millikin won their last encounter during the CCIW Tournament Quarterfinals with a score of 5-1 where Turnbull and Carter Burk secured the only victory for IWU in that match by winning their doubles game at No.1 by an 8-5 margin.

Millikin enters this upcoming contest with an overall record of one win and one loss after defeating Southwestern Illinois College decisively by a score of six to zero on March 2.

Match results will be available on iwusports.com following its conclusion.
