The Illinois Wesleyan University men's tennis team concluded its 2023-24 season after a defeat in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Tournament Quarterfinals. The Titans were eliminated by Augustana College with a score of 5-0 on Thursday, May 2, in Waukesha, Wisconsin. This result left IWU with an overall record of 9-10 for the season.

Sophomore Ian Turnbull and senior Ryan McCoy competed against Augustana's top doubles team but were defeated 8-6. In singles matches, McCoy was engaged in a close contest at No. 3 singles when Augustana secured their victory. He was trailing 6-5 in the first set and attempting to force a tiebreaker. Freshman Thad Dillow lost his first set 6-1 and was behind 4-3 in the second set when the match ended.

Head Coach Sam Totten will have eight out of ten team members returning for the next season, although seniors Joshua Cortez and Jordan Sibley-Diggs have finished their collegiate careers.

In other singles results, Arthur Hermange from Augustana faced Ian Turnbull with scores of 6-2, 3-0 before it was unfinished; David Larraga led Ben Vigneri 6-2, 1-0; Gabriel Luna was ahead of Ryan McCoy at 6-5; Saman Rezaeyan had a lead over Thad Dillow at 6-1, 4-3; Timothee Philip defeated Zeke Cross decisively at 6-0, 6-0; and Nicolas Navarro won against Griffin Hammond also at 6-0, 6-0.

In doubles competition, Hermange/Larraga beat Turnbull/McCoy (8-6), Garcia/Luna overcame Vigneri/Cross (8-3), and Rezaeyan/Navarro triumphed over Hammond/Dillow (8-3).
