The Illinois Wesleyan University women's bowling team participated in its first tournament of the season at the Columbia 300 Western Shootout in Indianapolis, Indiana, held on October 14-15. The event was hosted by Columbia 300 and H2M Management.

On Saturday, the Titans played six traditional games and achieved a total pinfall of 4026. The team recorded scores of 1003, 947, 788, 514, and 747 during these games.

Sophomore Kiera Henderson from Silvis, Illinois, made a significant impact by setting a program record with her highest scoring game of 716. She bowled a game-high score of 213, surpassing the previous record set by teammate Tarrah Phillips last year with a score of 210. Overall, Henderson accumulated an impressive total pinfall of 1011 over six games.

Tarrah Phillips also performed well, recording a total pinfall of 982 across six games—the second-highest for the team. The Palatine native started strong with a score of 176 in her first game.

Senior Macy Michorczyk from Franklin Park contributed with a notable effort as well. She totaled a pinfall of 788 over six games and achieved her highest score of 195 in game six.

The Titans are scheduled to compete next at the Lindenwood Tournament in St. Charles, Missouri on October 28-29.
