The Illinois State football team is taking a break this week after securing another conference road victory against Murray State. The team will return to action on November 2nd to face Youngstown State. During this bye week, head coach Brock Spack will discuss the team's preparations and recent performance at "The Brock Spack Show." The show will be held live at Schooners in Bloomington on Thursday at 6 p.m.
Coach Spack will engage in conversation with John Fitzgerald, the Redbird football play-by-play announcer, and Ted Schmitz, the longtime color analyst. They will review last week's game against the Racers and preview the upcoming matchup with the Penguins. This week's special guests include placekicker Ian Wagner and Matt Nicholson, Director of Athletic Performance for Football.
Schooners is located at 810 East Grove Street in Bloomington, near the intersection of Grove Street and Clinton Boulevard. For those unable to attend in person, the show will be broadcast on WJBC 1230 AM in the Twin Cities and streamed online via GoRedbirds.com and The Varsity Network. Portions of the event will also be available live on the Illinois State Athletics Facebook page.
