The Illinois Wesleyan University women's volleyball team secured the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Regular Season Championship with a four-set victory over Carroll University. This win marked their completion of an undefeated conference season, finishing 8-0, and improved their overall record to 19-6.

This achievement is significant for Illinois Wesleyan as it represents their highest win total since 2021. The team is now one win away from achieving the program's 23rd 20-win season. It also marks the fourth outright conference title in the school's history and only the second time they have completed a CCIW season without a loss, with the first being in 2018.

In their match against Carroll University, five Titans players recorded six or more kills. Taylor French led with 14 kills and added a double-double performance with 21 digs. Hannah Tellor contributed nine kills at a .313 hitting percentage along with three blocks.

Freshman Alex Bardouniotis added eight kills, while Morgan Harrington and Cailin Shannon each had six. Sophia Feeney provided 20 assists, complemented by Jordan Pierce's 18 assists. Kannyn Boyd led defensively with 25 digs, while Eleanor Palmer added four blocks.

Both teams finished with 47 kills; however, Illinois Wesleyan had an attacking percentage advantage of .157 compared to Carroll's .130. The Titans also led in aces (10-5), assists (42-41), and digs (77-71), although Carroll had a slight edge in blocks (10-8).

Illinois Wesleyan will next face Washington University in St. Louis on October 31 at Shirk Center.
