The Illinois State women's tennis team is set to conclude its fall season at the Redbird Duals, taking place at the Evergreen Racquet Club in Bloomington on November 2 and 3. The tournament will feature a two-day schedule with doubles matches starting at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, followed by singles at noon. On Sunday, doubles will begin around 9 a.m., and singles matches are scheduled for 11 a.m.

Participating teams include the University of Omaha, Eastern Illinois University, and Washington University in Saint Louis. Each team brings notable players who have shown strong performances in previous tournaments.

At the recent EIU Panther Invitational, Illinois State's freshman Nicole Iosio secured a victory in singles against Miami (OH)'s Lovissa Valentinisson with scores of 6-4, 6-2, and 10-8. In doubles play, Iosio teamed up with Emma Lindh to defeat Eastern Illinois University's Charleigh Fay and Ornella Lomenzo by a close score of 7-5.

Illinois State will field five athletes for this final home match of their fall season: juniors Lana Caculovic and Silvia Pomarolli, freshman Emma Lindh, graduate student Elena Jankulovska, and Nicole Iosio.

The University of Omaha's Mavericks recently participated in the Gopher Invite where their doubles pair Keegan VanPelt and Khayli Buckels achieved wins against the University of Minnesota and Milwaukee. Eastern Illinois University's Panthers showed strength at their own invite with Aleyla Wooten and Michelle Kostadinova leading their doubles efforts against Purdue Northwest. Meanwhile, Washington University's Bears saw success three weeks ago when Eleanor Archer and Caitlin Bui won the ITA Cup Doubles Championship in Rome, Georgia.
