Illinois State's Eiley Henderson has been recognized by the Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) for her performance on the soccer field. On Wednesday, it was announced that Henderson earned a spot on the All-MVC Freshman Team.
Henderson led her team with three goals during the season, contributing significantly in MVC play and scoring once in the 2024 MVC Tournament. She accumulated seven points overall, all against MVC competitors.
Throughout the season, Henderson was a key player for Illinois State, starting all but one game and playing over 1,400 minutes. Notably, she was the first true freshman this season to achieve a one-goal, one-assist game. This feat occurred on October 13 when she helped lead Illinois State to a 3-1 victory over Indiana State. Her performance earned her the title of MVC Freshman of the Week on October 15.
