The Illinois Wesleyan University women's bowling team participated in the Leatherneck Classic held on November 9-10 at Cherry Bowl Lanes in Rockford, Illinois. The team finished in 30th place with a total score of 3290.
On Sunday, the Titans bowled 16 baker games. Their highest-scoring game was 776. Junior Kiera Henderson from Silvis, Illinois, placed 96th overall with a game-high score of 172. Freshman Neveah Porter from Appleton, Wisconsin, secured the 177th position with a total score of 486 and a game-high of 116.
Freshmen Sapphire Bankston-Hunter from North Chicago, Illinois, and Bella Horvath from Glenview, Illinois, achieved scores placing them in the 191st and 199th positions with total pinfalls of 405 and 348 respectively.
The Titans are scheduled to compete next on November 23-24 at the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Tournament I in Milan, Illinois at the Backyard Bowl.
