Illinois State men's tennis announces comprehensive spring schedule for upcoming season

The Illinois State University men's tennis team has unveiled its 2025 Spring schedule, featuring a total of 23 regular season matches. The team will face five Summit League opponents and two power-five conference teams from the ACC and Big Ten.

The Redbirds are set to begin their season on January 18 at home against Saint Joseph University (PA). The following day, they will host Marquette and Eastern Illinois for matches at Evergreen Racquet Club.

January concludes with a home match against Ball State on January 25 before the team travels to South Bend to play the University of Notre Dame on January 26. In February, ISU returns home for matches against Northern Illinois on February 1 and Chicago State on February 2. They then embark on a road trip with four consecutive away games against IUPUI (February 7), New Mexico State (February 9), Tulsa (February 9), and Northwestern (February 15).

Returning to Bloomington, the Redbirds will compete against Western Michigan on February 16 before heading out again for matches in Indiana, Arizona, and Alabama against Purdue (February 23), Grand Canyon (March 1), and Saint Mary's of California (March 9).

As the regular season draws to a close, ISU will face Summit League teams Creighton (March 22), Omaha (March 23), Drake (March 26), Denver (March 28), St Louis (March 29), Oral Roberts at home on April 12, and finally travel to Grand Forks to play the University of North Dakota on April 5.

The Summit League Championships are scheduled for April 18-19 at Denver University.
