The Illinois State volleyball program has announced its 2025 recruiting class, adding four incoming freshmen to the roster for the 2025-26 academic year. The new recruits include libero Devynn Schulze from Wonder Lake, Illinois; setter Ella Craggs from Northville, Michigan; middle blocker Ne'Khaela Rogers from Burleson, Texas; and outside hitter Hadley Rogge from Crystal Lake, Illinois.

Head coach Allie Matters expressed enthusiasm about the new additions: "We are so incredibly excited to welcome this class of 2025 signees. This group of young women understand the legacy of Illinois State volleyball and are determined to impact the success of our program."

Devynn Schulze comes with a strong record as a three-time All-State selection and First-Team All-Conference selection. She is also noted for her academic achievements with three Academic All-State honors. Matters commented on Schulze's recruitment: "Devynn is a skilled defender and a consistent passer... We expect her to impact us immediately in a position that requires grit, hard work, and above all relentless energy." Schulze chose Illinois State because of the welcoming atmosphere she felt on campus.

Ella Craggs joins as an accomplished setter with accolades such as First-Team All State and AAU All-American recognition. She achieved over 3,000 career assists in high school. Coach Matters praised her abilities: "Ella is an extremely talented setter who will be asked to do a lot for our program upon arrival... Her ability to consistently connect with attackers seems effortless." Craggs was drawn to ISU by the passionate coaching staff and culture.

Ne'Khaela Rogers brings impressive credentials including being on the Junior Volleyball Association Watch List and setting records for single-season blocks. Matters remarked on her potential: "Nek is a strong presence that we expect to make an immediate impact on the physicality of our roster." Rogers felt an unmatched connection with ISU compared to other schools she visited.

Hadley Rogge adds depth as an outside hitter with experience recognized by several awards such as AVCA Phenom Watch List (2023) and ICA First-Team All State. Matters described Rogge's qualities: "Hadley is going to add depth and physicality to our pin position... Her leadership qualities and positive attitude stood out to us immediately." Rogge appreciated ISU's strong academic and athletic environment.
