Illinois State University's gymnastics team has announced the signing of two new gymnasts for the 2026 season. Head coach Bob Conkling revealed that Jercy Koliego from Lawrenceville, Georgia, and Mia LeBlanc from Merrimack, New Hampshire, will be joining the program.
"I'm very excited to have Jercy and Mia join our team next year," said ISU head coach Bob Conkling. "Both gymnasts are strong all-arounders and I feel they bring the kind of strengths we will be lacking after this current class of seniors graduate. Their potential, big skills, power, and talent will be fun to watch grow and mature during their Redbird careers."
Jercy Koliego hails from Archer High School in Lawrenceville and trains at BIO Gymnastics. She achieved second place on vault and third on bars, beam, and the all-around at the Level 10 Georgia State Championships in 2024.
Mia LeBlanc attends Merrimack High School and is part of Noha's Gymnastics Academy. She secured first place on bars, beam, and in the all-around at the Level 10 New Hampshire State Championships. Additionally, she was second on vault and fourth on floor at these championships. Her performance qualified her for DP Nationals where she placed 21st in the all-around and ninth on beam.
