Illinois State University’s football team, fresh from a victory over Southeast Missouri State, is set to face UC Davis in the second round of the playoffs. The No. 12 seed team will travel to California for the match against the No. 5 seed Aggies on Saturday.
Ahead of this important game, ISU head coach Brock Spack will appear on "The Brock Spack Show" to discuss last week's performance and preview the upcoming playoff matchup. The show will air live from Schooners at 6 p.m. on Tuesday and is presented by Redbird Ale from DESTIHL.
During the broadcast, Coach Spack will join Redbird football play-by-play announcer John Fitzgerald and color analyst Ted Schmitz to talk about their recent 35-27 win over SEMO at Houck Field. Senior outside linebacker Amir Abdullah will also feature as a special guest on the show.
Schooners, located at 810 East Grove Street in Bloomington, offers fans an opportunity to attend in person. For those unable to make it, the show will be available on WJBC 1230 AM and streamed live via GoRedbirds.com and The Varsity Network. Additionally, parts of the show will be shared live on Illinois State Athletics' Facebook page.
