For the first time since 2016, the Illinois Wesleyan University women's tennis team is set to participate in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Regional. The event will take place from Friday to Sunday, September 27-29, and will be hosted by Kalamazoo College in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

Head Coach Jason Van Heuklon will accompany sophomores Amber Ehrlich and Olivia Bell as they make their debut at the ITA tournament.

The last participant from Illinois Wesleyan at this tournament was Lauren Neitzel in 2016. She achieved a victory in her opening round against Morgan Wagers of the College of Wooster with scores of 6-1, 6-2. Neitzel's journey ended in the round of 64 after a match against Ashley Ochsenhirt of Ohio Northern, which concluded with scores of 7-6 (0-5), 4-6, 10-7.

Tournament results will be available on iwusports.com following its conclusion.
