The Illinois Wesleyan University men's basketball team is set to face Millikin University in a College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin matchup on January 15. The game will take place at the Griswold Center in Decatur, Illinois, with tipoff scheduled for 7 p.m.

Illinois Wesleyan enters the contest following a triple overtime victory against North Central College on January 11, which improved their record to 13-2 overall and 5-1 in conference play. Meanwhile, Millikin's five-game winning streak was halted by Carthage College on January 11, leaving them with a 9-5 overall record and a 3-2 mark in the CCIW.

Nick Roper of Illinois Wesleyan had an outstanding performance in the win over North Central, scoring a career-high 29 points. "Roper poured in a career-high 29 points over 48 minutes of play," according to team sources. Marko Anderson also contributed significantly with a double-double of 19 points and 12 rebounds.

In their last meeting, IWU defeated Millikin but lost later in the season when Millikin secured a narrow victory. This longstanding rivalry has seen Illinois Wesleyan hold an advantage historically, winning the majority of their past encounters.

Coach Ron Rose leads Illinois Wesleyan into this matchup with an impressive coaching record at his alma mater. His leadership has guided the Titans to multiple conference titles and notable defensive performances this season.

Fans can follow the game through live streaming and radio broadcasts provided by Eric Stock and Joel Swanson. More information is available on IWUsports.com.
