Illinois Wesleyan University's senior basketball player, Nick Roper, has been named to the Bevo Francis Top-100 Watch List. This list was announced by Small College Basketball on January 15, highlighting Roper as the only student-athlete from the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) to receive this recognition.
Roper is currently leading Illinois Wesleyan in scoring, averaging 16.1 points per game with a shooting percentage of 48.0 from the field over 15 games. He also ranks second on his team with an average of 5.2 rebounds per game and is tied for second place with 17 steals. His performance includes four games where he scored over 20 points and reaching double figures in ten out of fifteen games, along with one double-double.
Under Roper's leadership, the Titans have achieved a record of 13-2 overall and hold a CCIW record of 5-1, earning them a national ranking at No. 6. The team is set to play against Millikin University on January 15 at the Griswold Center.
