Junior Natalie Porter from Illinois Wesleyan University's women's swimming and diving team has been named the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Swimmer of the Week. The announcement was made on Tuesday, January 21, marking Porter's second career accolade and the first for her team this season.

The last time a member of the Titans received this recognition was during the 2023-24 season when Hadley Fudge earned it on November 14, 2023.

In recent competitions held on January 17-18, Porter achieved two victories and four top-three finishes. She secured first place in the 200 free with a time of 2:04.66 and third in the 100 back at 1:07.87. Additionally, she won events against Carthage and IIT by taking first in both the 500 free (5:24.06) and the 1000 free (10:53.63). Her performance in the 1000 free is currently unmatched in speed within CCIW this season.

Porter previously received her initial weekly honor on January 17, 2023, during her freshman year when she was named Co-Swimmer of the Week alongside Augustana's Zoe Heiar.

The Titans are set to compete again at Franklin University on February 1 at Franklin Middle School starting at 1 p.m. ET.
