Illinois State University's women's tennis team is set to host a doubleheader at the Evergreen Racquet Club this Sunday. The Redbirds will face Western Illinois and the University of Illinois-Springfield, with matches scheduled for 12:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.

The doubles pair of Elena Jankulovska and Nuria Sanz are currently ranked No. 117 in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Rankings with a score of 4.71.
Western Illinois, part of the Ohio Valley Conference, had a tough previous season with an overall record of 2-16. However, they recently achieved a victory over Quincy University with a decisive 7-0 win.
The University of Illinois-Springfield belongs to the Great Lakes Valley Conference and posted a record of 6-8 last season. This weekend marks their first match in the new campaign, with players Piper Schrepferman and Carmen Llopis Fabra expected to be key contributors.
