Scholarship available for Illinois seniors committed to conservation

The Illinois Conservation Foundation is offering a scholarship opportunity for high school seniors in Illinois. Applicants must meet specific criteria to be eligible.

To qualify, the applicant must be a senior at an Illinois high school during the year of the scholarship award and an Illinois resident. They must also demonstrate voluntary contributions to the state's natural resources throughout their high school years. Additionally, applicants should plan to enroll in a two- or four-year college or university program in the same calendar year as their high school graduation.

Furthermore, students need to maintain good standing at their high school with a grade point average of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale, or 3.1 or better on a 5.0 scale.

Applications for this scholarship are due by March 1st, 2025, and must be submitted to the Illinois Conservation Foundation.
