The Illinois Wesleyan University men's and women's cross country teams have been recognized as United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Teams. Four Titans athletes received individual All-Academic Athlete honors. The announcement was made on January 30, 2025.

To qualify for the team distinction, a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.1 on a 4.0 scale is required. The Illinois Wesleyan men's team holds a GPA of 3.389, while the women's team has a GPA of 3.585.

Individual athletes must maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.30 and finish in the top 25 percent at their respective regional championship meets to earn the All-Academic Athlete distinction.

Fisch, a senior biology major, achieved this honor for the first time after placing 32nd at the NCAA Division III Midwest Regional Championships on November 16. He also earned all-region honors and was named to the second team with a 16th-place finish at his conference championships.

Senior neuroscience major Chudy earned her third USTFCCCA All-Academic award following her performance in which she placed 27th overall at the regional championships. She was also named First Team All-CCIW after finishing ninth at her conference championships.

Crabtree, double majoring in environmental studies and biology, secured her third USTFCCCA All-Academic honor for performances over three consecutive seasons including this one where she finished third at her conference meet.

Freshman Morgan started strong by earning an All-Academic honor alongside all-region recognition after finishing 14th at CCIW Championships and claiming all-region honors with a placement of 25th in regional competitions.

As these achievements are acknowledged, both Illinois Wesleyan's men’s and women’s cross country teams are now preparing for their upcoming season in 2025.
