The Illinois State Basketball Coaches Show, sponsored by The O'Brien Auto Team, will be broadcast live tonight from Rob Dob's in Bloomington. The show features head men's basketball coach Ryan Pedon and women's basketball head coach Kristen Gillespie.

Rob Dob's is offering food specials during the event, including a Classic Burger, Buffalo Chicken Sandwich, Lasagna, or any pizza for $12 each, with a soft drink included. For those unable to attend in person, the show can be heard on WJBC 1230 AM, the Varsity Network, and GoRedbirds.com.

Kristen Gillespie's segment starts at 6 p.m., hosted by Greg Halbleib. She will be joined by ISU sophomore guard Shannon Dowell. "The O'Fallon, Illinois native is the team scoring leader," averaging 15.8 points per game this season. Dowell recently scored 22 points against Missouri State, contributing to a three-way tie for second place in the MVC standings.

The women's basketball team (14-7) recently won home games against Southern Illinois and Missouri State. They are set to play away games against Drake Bulldogs and Northern Iowa Panthers this coming weekend.

Ryan Pedon's segment begins at 6:45 p.m., hosted by John Fitzgerald and Mike Matthews. Joining him is redshirt freshman forward Cameron Barnes from Duncanville, Texas. Barnes has participated in 13 games this season with notable performances against North Dakota State and UIC.

The men's team (14-9) also secured two home victories last week against Belmont and Valparaiso. They face upcoming away games against UIC and Northern Iowa Panthers.
