The Illinois State women's tennis team is set to travel to New York for a weekend of matches. The Redbirds, with a current record of 3-2, will face Fordham University on Friday at the Cary Leeds Center and Saint John's on Saturday at the USTA National Tennis Center.

Nicoline Sartz-Lunde was prominent for Saint John's by winning her No. 1 singles match against Hannah Smith with scores of 6-1 (UF). In doubles competition, Alicia Gomez and Victoria Papadopoulo claimed victory over Morgan State's Hannah Smith and Aleksandra Evdokimov.
