The Redbird men's tennis team experienced a narrow defeat against IU-Indy with a score of 5-2 on Friday. The match took place in Indianapolis, marking the Redbirds' fourth loss this season, bringing their record to 3-4. Meanwhile, IU-Indy leveled their record at 3-3.
In singles matches, Adrian Dibildox from Monterrey, Mexico secured a straight-set victory over Noah Viste of IU-Indy at the No. 2 position. Jett Leong from Melbourne, Australia also claimed a win against Pumpiphat Sukkho at the No. 5 spot.
The Redbirds achieved success in doubles play as well, with Tin Ostro and Tomas Valencia defeating IU-Indy's top pair Konner Gunwall and Nate Day by a score of 6-4.
Looking ahead, the Redbirds will head to Oklahoma for a double-header on Sunday. They are set to face New Mexico State and Tulsa at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., respectively.
