Following a successful opening weekend at the Sea Best Intercollegiate, where they secured second place among 15 schools with the third-lowest tournament score in their history, the Redbirds women's golf team is set to compete in the 2025 Columbia Classic. The event will take place on February 8-9 at the Duran Golf Club in Melbourne, Florida.

The participating teams include Princeton, Illinois State, Penn, Dartmouth, Quinnipiac, Boston University, Seton Hall, Youngstown State, Columbia, Marshall, Duquesne, and Emory. The course is known for its links-style characteristics with wide driving areas and mild mounding around large greens. Players must also contend with winds from the Atlantic Ocean that can affect play.

This marks the first time that the Redbirds are competing in this particular tournament. The lineup for Illinois State includes Jinyoung Yun, Jessica Jolly, Lory Paradis, Elise Fennell, and Morgan Jones.

Live results of the competition will be available through a scoreboard powered by Clippd.
