Illinois Wesleyan University has announced a leadership change in its swimming and diving programs, effective February 11. Head coach Teresa Fish and assistant coach Tommy Gilbert have departed from their roles.
"I want to thank Teresa and Tommy for their years of service at Illinois Wesleyan," said Mike Wagner, Director of Athletics.
The university's athletic department will continue to support student-athletes through the end of the current season. Adam Blanchard has been appointed as interim head coach, with assistance from Steve Paska, Kevin McCarthy, and Kim Nelson-Brown.
A national search for a new head coach will commence immediately.
