The Illinois Wesleyan University women's bowling team concluded their participation in the Viking Classic, held at Highland Park Lanes in Moline, Illinois, on February 15-16. The team secured an eighth-place finish.

Junior Kiera Henderson from Silvis, Illinois, representing United Township, was the standout performer for the Titans. She achieved a 19th place individual finish with a total pinfall of 824 over five traditional games. Her performance included a high score of 206 in game five. Henderson narrowly edged out Samantha Olson of Augustana, who scored 818 to secure the 20th spot.

Freshman Sapphire Bankston-Hunter from North Chicago, Illinois, and Woodlands Academy of the Sacred Heart set two personal records during the tournament. She recorded a single-game high of 146 and amassed a total pinfall of 577 over five games, placing her 35th individually.

Sophomores Joanna Steven from Chicago's Kings College Prep and Bella Horvath from Glenview's New Trier contributed with total pinfalls of 519 and 394 respectively. Steven finished in 38th place while Horvath took the 40th position.

On Sunday, the team participated in two rounds of Baker games but did not secure any wins, finishing with a score of 3494 and maintaining their eighth-place standing overall. Lewis University emerged as the tournament winners.

The Titans are scheduled to compete again in two weeks at the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Tournament #2 on March 1-2. This event will be hosted by Carthage College in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
