Illinois State University's baseball team has scheduled a midweek game against Ball State University. The match will take place in Muncie, Indiana, on Tuesday, February 25, with the first pitch at 1:00 p.m. CT.
This upcoming encounter marks the first meeting between the Cardinals and Redbirds since 2006 when Ball State won 9-3 at a neutral site in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It will also be the first time in 22 years that Illinois State travels to Muncie for a game; their last visit was in 2003 for a three-game series.
