The Illinois State women's golf team is set to participate in the Rio Verde Collegiate Invitational, hosted by Western Michigan University, from February 21-23, 2025. The event will take place at the White Wing Golf Course in Rio Verde, Arizona. The course features a par of 72 and stretches over 6,001 yards.

Illinois State has shown strong performances this spring season and aims to continue its success in Arizona. The team will compete against several other schools, including Xavier, Cal Baptist, Missouri State, and Bradley.

The Redbird lineup for the tournament includes Jinyoung Yun, Morgan Jones, Jessica Jolly, Lory Paradis, and Elise Fennell. This marks the 14th time Illinois State has participated in this event. Last season, they tied for second place out of 20 schools with a score of 870 over three rounds.

The White Wing Golf Course is known for its traditional style with a desert look. It was renovated by Tom Lehman in 2007 to offer two distinct courses that provide diverse golfing experiences.
