BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University men's volleyball team is preparing for a College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin match against Augustana College on Saturday, March 1. The Titans (10-7, 0-3 CCIW) will host the game at the Shirk Center at 2 p.m., facing off against Augie (10-6, 0-2 CCIW).

The Titans recently played against North Park University on Wednesday night, February 26, where they lost in four sets. Sophomore Bryce Williams led the offense with 10 kills, while Brenden Reutter contributed with team-highs of 18 assists and three aces. Freshman Gavin Rohlwing achieved a team-high seven blocks, and Ben Zima recorded six digs.

Williams has been a key player for the Titans' offense with 159 kills this season, averaging 2.94 kills per set with an attack percentage of .204. Rohlwing follows with 117 kills and a .329 hitting percentage. Ethan Kuziela rounds out the top-three players with 104 kills and an average of 2.60 per set.

Reutter and senior Vince DiCosola have been leading the setting duties for Illinois Wesleyan. Reutter leads with 298 assists at an average of 4.81 per set, while DiCosola has contributed 239 assists at an average of 4.12 per set.

On defense, junior Jace Milka leads the team in digs with a total of 129 this season, averaging 2.05 per set. Williams and Reutter are close behind with respective totals of 94 and 93 digs each.

Rohlwing has shown strong performance both offensively and defensively at the net, leading the team in blocks with a total of 67. His blocking average ranks him first in the CCIW and eighth among Division III players nationally.

The upcoming game marks the ninth meeting between IWU and Augustana College, where Augustana holds a series lead with six wins to two losses against IWU. In their last encounter on March 24, 2024, IWU lost in straight sets despite efforts from now-assistant coach Mike Eastman and Williams who each had eight kills.
