The Illinois Wesleyan University men's volleyball team is preparing to face off against Loras College in a College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin match. The game will take place on Wednesday, March 5, at 7 p.m. at the Lillis Athletic & Wellness Center in Dubuque, Iowa.

The Titans have a record of 11-7 overall and 1-3 in conference play. They recently secured a four-set victory over Augustana College on March 1. Junior Jace Milka returned to his role as an outside hitter, leading the offense with 19 kills and a .343 attack percentage. Senior Vince DiCosola contributed with 25 assists, while sophomore Brenden Reutter achieved a double-double with 22 assists and ten digs. Freshman Gavin Rohlwing added eight blocks to strengthen the net defense.

Sophomore Bryce Williams has been a key offensive player for the Titans, recording 172 kills this season with an average of 2.97 per set and hitting .214 overall. Rohlwing follows with 125 kills, and sophomore Ethan Kuziela has accumulated 111 kills. Reutter leads the team in service aces with 21, followed by Williams with 14 and freshman Ben Zima with ten.

Reutter and DiCosola have been pivotal in orchestrating the team's offense this season. Reutter leads with 320 assists, averaging 4.85 per set, while DiCosola has contributed 264 assists at an average of 4.26 per set.

On defense, Milka leads the team with 134 digs, averaging two per set. Reutter follows closely behind with 103 digs, while Williams has recorded 102 digs. Rohlwing is notable for his blocking skills, leading the team and conference with an average of 1.15 blocks per set—a mark that ranks sixth nationally.

This upcoming match will be the ninth encounter between IWU and Loras (9-2 overall; CCIW:3-1), with Loras having won all previous meetings. In their last matchup on March 20,2024, Loras secured victory in straight sets.
