Coach Conkling expressed satisfaction with the team's performance, stating, "I am so happy for the team and especially for the seniors for a strong meet tonight. We still have some things to work on before the MIC conference championship on Friday, but the team is determined to improve and I'm looking forward to getting back in the gym with them on Monday to get ready to compete for a championship."

The initial combined vault/beam score of 98.150 ranks as the second highest in program history as well.
