After two challenging matches in Colorado Springs, the Illinois Wesleyan University men's lacrosse team is returning to the Midwest. They are set to face Calvin University in Grand Rapids, Michigan, on Saturday, March 22. The game will commence at 5 p.m. ET at Zuidema Field.
Illinois Wesleyan currently holds a 6-2 record this season. Their recent losses came during their spring break trip where they faced Colorado College and Ursinus, with scores of 19-11 and 15-11 respectively.

Senior Nick Schroeder has achieved a .613 faceoff win percentage by winning 92 out of 150 faceoffs and leads the team with 41 ground balls. Skelton anchors the defense with a total of 16 caused turnovers and has gathered up to 24 scoops this season. As primary goalkeeper, Tervo holds a record of five wins against two losses, along with a goals-against average of 10.89; he has made a total of eighty-eight saves this season maintaining a .537 save percentage.
This upcoming match marks the first encounter between Illinois Wesleyan University and Calvin University teams. Calvin currently stands at three wins against three losses as they prepare for their Friday night game against Southwestern University before facing off against Illinois Wesleyan on Saturday.
