The Illinois Wesleyan University men's basketball team has been ranked 10th in the final D3hoops.com top-25 poll for the 2024-25 season. The announcement was made on Monday, March 24. The Titans accumulated 373 points and were the only team from the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin to appear in the top-25 rankings.
Illinois Wesleyan ended their season with a 24-6 record and reached the Sweet Sixteen of the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2022. They also won the CCIW Tournament Championship and secured victories against several teams listed in the final rankings, including No. 4 Washington University, No. 9 UW-Platteville, No. 13 St. John's, No. 23 Chicago, and No. 25 Cal Lutheran.
Seniors Nick Roper from St. Louis, Hakim Williams from Round Lake, and Harrison Wilmsen from St. Louis received All-CCIW honors this season. Roper and Williams were selected for the first team while Wilmsen made it to the second team. Additionally, Roper and Williams earned D3hoops All-Region status.
Freshman Josh Fridman from Northbrook was recognized as CCIW Newcomer of the Year, D3hoops Region 8 Rookie of the Year, and D3hoops National Rookie of the Year after an impressive freshman year.
The complete top-25 list features Trinity (Conn.) at number one with a record of 30-3 followed by New York University at number two with a record of 29-2.
