Illinois State University's swimming and diving team had 11 of its athletes named to the 2025 MVC Scholar-Athlete team. This announcement was made by the Missouri Valley Conference on Friday. Among these 11 athletes, seven achieved a perfect 4.0 GPA.

The standout performers included Mia Snow, Emma Feltzer, and Eva Reyes, all of whom were also All-MVC First team selections. At the 2025 MVC Championships, Snow set a school record with her silver medal performance in the 100-fly, clocking in at 52.81 seconds. Feltzer clinched a bronze in the 50-freestyle with a program-record time of 22.80 seconds, while Reyes earned a silver in the 1-Meter Diving Championships.

Scholar-Athlete recognition in the MVC requires athletes to have participated in the MVC Championships. They must also maintain a GPA of 3.5 along with all-conference honors, a 3.7 GPA with a top 24 finish in an individual event, or a 3.9 GPA while participating in the championships, even if not scoring.

The Redbirds who were honored are: Sylvia Admire, Delaney Boulden, Chloe Tyler, Ella Turken, Ella Glaspie, and Cassidy Carey, each with a 4.0 GPA. Emma Feltzer followed with a GPA of 3.94, while Lauren Wisdom, Mia Snow, Shelby Gourley, and Eva Reyes had GPAs of 3.86, 3.81, 3.76, and 3.65, respectively.
