After a pivotal performance, Illinois Wesleyan University men's lacrosse player Bob Boone has been named the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Offensive Player of the Week. Boone, a fifth-year player from Los Angeles (Notre Dame), earned this recognition following his game-winning goal against Elmhurst University.

The Titans have now received this distinction four weeks in a row and five times this season. Previous recipients from the team include Nick Horrocks (April 14), Timothy McHugh (March 25, April 1), and Colin Tervo (Feb. 25).

Boone's decisive goal, scored with just 12 seconds remaining, secured a 12-11 comeback victory for Illinois Wesleyan, maintaining their position as the sole undefeated team in conference play. Boone was a standout during the match, contributing five points through two goals and three assists, just one point short of his career high.

Looking ahead, Illinois Wesleyan will host Carroll University on Saturday, April 26, for the final regular-season game. The occasion will feature a men's and women's lacrosse doubleheader and act as senior day for both teams. The men's game will start at noon, followed by the women's match against Elmhurst at 3 p.m.
