The eighth annual "Victory With Honor Senior Banquet" took place in Bloomington, Illinois, on April 30, celebrating senior student-athletes from Illinois Wesleyan University (IWU). The event recognized various achievements through awards distributed to members of the Titan Athletic Community.
Lauren Huber, a women's basketball player from Lombard, Illinois, was awarded the Barb Cothren Award. This award is named after a long-serving coach and women's athletic administrator at IWU. Men's golfer Quinn Clifford, hailing from Chicago, received the Dennie Bridges Award, named after a former IWU coach and athletic director.
Jen Kuhn, a softball player from Normal, Illinois, was honored with the Jason Jones True Titan Award, given to a senior student-athlete who demonstrates exemplary character. The award is named in memory of Jason Jones, an IWU graduate and versatile athlete, who tragically lost his life in a plane crash in 2015.
The Steve Doran Award, recognizing the senior student-athlete with outstanding community service, was shared by women's basketball player Caite Knutson and men's soccer player Will McNulty. This award is named after a 1979 graduate and former basketball player who was dedicated to humanitarian work before he passed away in 2018 during a medical mission in Haiti.
The Order of Titans honors were awarded to students selected by the IWU coaching and physical education staff, based on academic and athletic achievements, along with their contributions to the community. This recognition has been extended to female athletes since 1976. The 2025 honorees included several athletes across different sports disciplines, both men and women.
The event is significant in acknowledging the hard work and dedication of IWU athletes, offering lifetime passes to IWU home athletic events to Order of Titans members.
