It is National Small Business Week, a time to encourage supporting local entrepreneurs. Representative Tipsword has urged the community to "shop small" in order to support the businesses that contribute significantly to community growth and prosperity.

Expressing gratitude towards Illinois small business owners, Tipsword acknowledged their role in driving innovation and investing in local economies. "Thank you to our Illinois small business owners for driving innovation, investing in our local economies, and making our state a better place," he stated.

This week is an initiative by the U.S. Small Business Administration aimed at highlighting the importance of small businesses across the nation.
