Pacella and Morris earn Midwest All-Region honors for Illinois State baseball

Illinois State baseball players Daniel Pacella and Judah Morris have been recognized as Midwest All-Region Second-Team by ABCA/Rawlings, marking the first time Redbird athletes have received this honor since Ryan Cermak in 2022.

Pacella, hailing from Mundelein, Illinois, was one of three Redbirds to start every game this season. Playing all 56 games in left field, he achieved a batting average of .355 with an on-base percentage of .714 and a slugging percentage of .429. His performance included 19 doubles, two triples, 20 home runs, 59 RBIs, and 58 runs scored. Additionally, Pacella earned a spot on the All-MVC First Team for 2025 and was named to the MVC Scholar-Athlete First Team along with receiving CSC Academic All District honors.

Judah Morris from Mather, California also started every game in the season at first base. In 2025, Morris recorded a batting average of .298 with an on-base percentage of .667 and a slugging percentage of .466. He hit 16 doubles and 19 home runs while driving in 50 runs and scoring 56 times. The senior was named Second Team All-Conference and also received CSC Academic All District honors.
