Illinois State’s Eiley Henderson receives MVC preseason all-conference honorable mention

Sophomore forward Eiley Henderson has been named as an honorable mention on the Missouri Valley Conference's (MVC) 2025 Preseason All-Conference Team. The announcement was made by the MVC league office on Monday.

Henderson is one of 20 athletes chosen for the preseason honor and is the only player from Illinois State to be selected. She returns to the Redbirds after a notable freshman season, during which she led the team with three goals and shared the team lead in points, recording seven alongside junior Erika Wells. Her performance last season also earned her a spot on the All-MVC Freshman team.
