The Brock Spack Show is set to return for the fall season, continuing its weekly broadcasts from Schooners in Bloomington. The show will air every Thursday from 6-7 p.m., starting August 28, and will run throughout the football season, including the team's bye week and any potential postseason games.
The first episode will preview Illinois State's season opener against the No. 18 ranked Oklahoma Sooners on August 30, with kickoff scheduled for 5 p.m. CT in Norman. Head coach Brock Spack will join play-by-play announcer John Fitzgerald and color analyst Ted Schmitz each week to discuss preparations for upcoming opponents and review previous games. Each broadcast will also feature a Redbird student-athlete and an assistant coach or support staff member.
Schooners is located at 810 East Grove Street in Bloomington, near the intersection of Grove Street and Clinton Boulevard. Fans unable to attend in person can listen live on WJBC 1230 AM and 102.1 FM in the Twin Cities area, as well as through streaming platforms such as GoRedbirds.com and The Varsity Network. Portions of the program will also be shown live on the Illinois State Athletics Facebook page.
GoRedbirds.com remains a resource for fans seeking tickets, merchandise, multimedia content, and information about supporting Illinois State athletics through donations.
"The Brock Spack Show returns this fall thanks to continued support from Redbird Ale by Destihl," organizers said.
