The Illinois State Redbirds football team is preparing for its home opener against Morehead State at Hancock Stadium this Saturday. After competing against the Oklahoma Sooners last weekend, the No. 7 ranked Redbirds aim to even their season record.
Head coach Brock Spack will discuss last week's game and preview the upcoming matchup during The Brock Spack Show, which will take place Thursday at 6 p.m. at Schooners in Bloomington. "Coach Spack will chat with Redbird football play-by-play voice John Fitzgerald and longtime color analyst Ted Schmitz about what he learned about his team from last week's game against Oklahoma and he will preview the upcoming matchup with Morehead State. This week, they will be joined by senior defensive back Cam Wilson and new defensive backs coach Dru Richardson as special guests."
Schooners is located at 810 East Grove Street in Bloomington, near the intersection of Grove Street and Clinton Boulevard. Fans unable to attend can listen to the broadcast on WJBC 1230 AM or stream it live on GoRedbirds.com and The Varsity Network. Portions of the show will also be available on the Illinois State Athletics Facebook page.
