The Illinois State Redbirds football team, currently ranked No. 4, improved their season record to 1-1 after a 41-13 victory over Morehead State in their home opener at Hancock Stadium. The team is now preparing for the 113th Mid-America Classic against Eastern Illinois, a long-standing rival, which will take place this Saturday in Charleston.
Head coach Brock Spack will discuss the team's recent performance and preview the upcoming matchup during The Brock Spack Show on Thursday at 6 p.m. The event will be held at Schooners, located at 810 East Grove Street in Bloomington. Coach Spack will be joined by Redbird football play-by-play announcer John Fitzgerald and color analyst Ted Schmitz. Senior linebacker Reese Edwards and outside linebackers coach Kye Stewart are scheduled as special guests.

For those unable to attend in person, the show will air on WJBC 1230 AM in the Twin Cities area and stream live on GoRedbirds.com and The Varsity Network. Segments of the program will also be available live on the Illinois State Athletics Facebook page.
